Our members are involved in racing, cruising, and day-sailing during the boating season and participate in a diverse range of social events throughout the year. We’re a family-friendly club with activities and facilities for all ages.

SBSC Open House 2019

Come try sailing in Scarborough! Scarborough Bluffs Sailing Club (SBSC) is one of the best kept secrets in the city. The club is located in Bluffer’s Park, right on Lake Ontario and has scenic Cathedral Bluffs as a backdrop.

This SBSC Open House is free to anyone interested, no registration is required, no experience is required. We offer dinghy demonstrations (short sail rides with an experienced club member) in our club school boats (CL14) or larger sail boat rides by club members in their boats, we will provide life jackets for all who go out on the water and will have a safety boat on the water at all times during demonstration rides, a BBQ Lunch is provided and free parking on the club property.

Visitors will be able to sign up for our Dinghy sailing school or apply for club membership with or without a boat.

The club is accessible by TTC bus, the GPS address is 25 Bluffers Park, Toronto.

Come try rowing in Barrie! The Barrie Rowing Club is a non-profit organization whose mission is to stimulate, advocate and develop the sport of rowing in the Barrie area and Simcoe County. To achieve a vibrant, strong and dynamic rowing community, we provide training programs targeted at individuals of all ages and abilities.

The Barrie Rowing Club is located in Simcoe County, at the gateway to Ontario’s tourism country, in one of the region’s most dynamic growth communities. Our club is nestled on beautiful Kempenfelt Bay, in the heart of downtown Barrie. We have 20 kilometres of rowable water and a large complement of club and privately owned touring and racing shells.
