Each club has different membership levels available, ask or visit their website for more information

  • How much does it cost to become a member?

Clubs have membership fees along with other incidentals which you should inquire about prior to making a decision

  • Is there a day which I can sign up for a more extensive tour of the club facilities?

Most clubs have an open house which you can register for, check their website for more details

  • Do I have access to other clubs with my membership to one club?

Many clubs have reciprocal rights and you can inquire with the club you decide to join as to which other clubs you may visit and what the parameters are

  • Does each of my family members need to purchase their own membership (spouse, children)?

Along with membership levels each club has their own standards as to who is also a member under your personal membership, inquire with your club specifically

  • What hours is the club open?

Some clubs may have restaurant facilities that are open during set hours you can ask when these are. With a membership you will generally be given your own key to the grounds to access your boat

  • How does the club keep in contact with its members?

Some clubs have a newsletter others have a message board depending on the size of the cub they will have different methods of communication

  • What services do clubs provide?

Clubs provide a variety of services, from Learn to Sail/Row lessons, to organized social events, to crewing on boats, and more. Ask your club about the services and events they organize that help enhance your membership experience

  • What introductory Learn to Sail/Row programs are available?

Many clubs their members with lessons on how to Row/Sail. These lessons are offered at a variety of levels, and are often also available to the public. Research and contact your club to see what Learn to Sail/Row lessons they have available.
